On the first day we were warmly welcomed by Mr Dönsch, the headmaster and together we visited the Town Hall of Bremen. The reception at Town Hall was followed by a sightseeing tour of the city. Our guides were the kind students of ÖG who told us a lot of interesting things about the city’s history and showed us around the old part of Bremen. We were most impressed by the magnificent Cathedral of St Peter and the statue of Roland, the city’s patron. We also took a ride on the historic tram.
On Wednesday we went to Bremerhaven, a lovely city on the coast of the North sea. A visit of Klimahaus was an incredible experience where we had a chance to feel different climate zones around the world. In the afternoon we visited the Maritime museum where we entered a true submarine.
Thursday was our last day in Germany. It was full of excitment as we rowed down the lovely tiny rivers of Wörpe and Wümme.
Slovenian team prepared a movie about traditional folk song “There’s a clear stream and a mill“.
Manca has prepared this film about her trip to Germany.
After coming back home Manca made a presentation for the other students and their parents.
Lovely images from all of our project meetings can be seen in the following short film that depicts our unforgettable experiences that made us richer, happier and definitely wiser.
Some photos from Germany are already available on this link.
